Lucy Stylianou

Parent Governor

I became a parent governor in 2022, as I have two children who attend the school and I'd wanted to become more involved in how the school runs. I am the link governor for Pupil Premium, MFL and Music, and see it as a privilege to be part of the school's development within these areas.

My academic background began when I studied German & Japanese at university, followed by both a secondary PGCE in MFL, then Master's degree in Children's Literature. I am grateful for the opportunities I've had in life to learn and study.

My career has been predominantly in education. I currently work for the Welwyn Garden City & Hatfield Schools Partnership which supports families and schools in the area, but have previously worked in the tertiary sector within international student admissions.

It is an exciting time to be part of Creswick's journey.
